The Results Page

-- Your Browse Gallery or Search Results will appear with thumbnails of works of art. Click a thumbnail to go to the Work of Art page for that piece.

-- If your browse or search returns more than 12 matches, click Next Matches to view the next page of results. To return to previous search results pages, click Previous Matches.

Tip! The results of a Quick Search do not contain thumbnails.

Using the Zoom View

-- When you click a thumbnail, you will go to a description page for that work of art. This page includes a larger image of the piece and associated details.

Tip! If you have a Java-enabled browser, you will see the Zoom tool on the description page image. If you do not see this tool, visit Tech Tips for advice on accessing this application.

-- If you would like to enlarge a portion of the artwork, click inside the centre of the area you wish to enlarge. A box will appear around the area set for enlargement.

-- Click Zoom to enlarge the area for close examination.

-- Click Reset to return to the view of the entire work.

-- You may also resize and reposition the area of enlargement. To resize, use your mouse to drag the edges of the box. To reposition, click inside the box, hold down your mouse button, and drag the box to its new position.
