MILITARY GAS MASK GP-7
Specifications
This product is assigned for protection of organs of respiration, eyes and face from poisonous and radioactive substances in form of vapor or aerosols and harmful bacteriological (biological) agents, present in the air.
The Military Masks GP-7 provide a highly efficient protection in real conditions when used properly.
The mask come in three sizes and has a built-in communication device, giving an opportunity to communicate by technical means. The use of mist-proof materials, and warming up layers in low temperatures preserves the transparency of glasses during the entire period of work in the gas mask regardless of the intensity of physical work.
This gas mask protects from:
- neural-paralytic substances (like Zarin, Zoman etc.),generally poisonous substances (like Chlorine-cyanogen, hydro-cyanic acid etc), radioactive substances (like methyl iodide and so on) with the protection period up to 6 hours.
- drops of poisonous skin damaging agents (like mustard gas, etc.) with the protection period up to 2 hours.
This gas mask has a special drinking device, enabling to drink water from the flask during work in contaminated environment.
The flask is not included into the package but can be supplied if required.
Additional filtering-absorbing boxes GP-7K (TY-10-1104-82) can also be supplied if needed.
This gas mask doesn’t protect from carbon monoxide, and low-boiling temperature organic substances such as methane, butane, ethylene, acetylene etc.

The filtering-absorbing box GP-7Ak has a shape of a cylinder painted khaki.
The threaded orifice is designed for joining it to the facial part. At the bottom one can find the opening for breathing in air.
The filtering-absorbing box GP-7Ak is supplied with a special filter and an absorber. In order to protect the absorber from the humidity the orifice of the box should be properly covered with a rubber pad, and the bottom with a rubber cork.
The facial part is designed to lead the already filtered and cleaned air to the organs of respiration and to protect the face and the eyes from dangerous agents, radioactive dust, biological aerosols, etc.
The facial part consists of the body which looks as a mask with an independent obturator united with the body of the mask, safety glasses unit, communication device, inhalation valve and exhalation valve units, fairing and a head cover.
