Stanislav Gaudassinsky. Artistic and General Director.
Stanislav Gaudassinsky graduated from Leningrad Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory as singer (under professor V.Lukanin's leadership) in 1965 and as music director (under professor E.Sokovnin's and professor R.Tikhomirov's leadership) in 1973.
From 1967 till 1971 S.Gaudassinsky was soloist of Leningrad Kirov State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (at present St. Peterburg Mariinsky Theatre). From 1971 till 1978 he was assistant director of the above-mentioned theatre and renewed the opera "Pskovityanka" by Rimsky-Korsakov as well the opera "Verter" by Massenet.
In 1978 S. Gaudassinsky became Chief director of Odessa Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and worked there till 1980. Within that period he made the productions of the operas: "LaTraviata" by Verdi, "Aleko" by Rakhmaninov, "Love Letters" by Gubarenko, "Peter I" by Petrov.
In 1980 S. Gaudassinsky was appointed Chief director of Leningrad Maly State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (at present St. Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre). Since that moment the theatre's opera activity is distinguished by performing of the Russian classical and the best foreign operas. Also the tradition of the contemporaneous opera repertoire mastering was continued. S.Gaudassinsky's aim to cause a singer to be a good actor confered special characteristic to whole company.
In 1990 S. Gaudassinsky was appointed Artistic Director of the St.Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and since 1997 he also is at the head of the theatre as General Director.
S.Gaudassinsky made the fallowing productions at the Mussorgsky Theatre: "Maria Stuart" by Slonimsky (awarded the State Prize of Russia), "The Queen of Spades", "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky, “The Taming of the Shrew” by Shebalin, "Pugachev" by Kobekin, "Dorotea", "The Naked King" by Khrennikov, "Don Quixote" by Massenet, “Boris Godunov”,.”Khovanshchina”:•by Mussorgsky. “Le Fou” by Landowsky, "The Brothers Karamazov" by Kholminov, "The Golden Cockerel”, “The Tale of the Tsar Saltan by Rimsky-Korsakov, "Peter I" by Petrov, "La Traviata" by Verdi, "Die Fledermaus" by Strauss, "Carmen" by Bizet (for the Theatre's 80th anniversary).
S.Gaudassinsky realized abroad two opera productions: "Peter I" by A.Petrov in Bulgaria and "Montsegur" by M. Landowsky in France.
S.Gaudassinsky's opera productions were showed at the 40th International Edinburg Festival and also were repeatedly performed in Italy, Prance, Japan, USA, Greece, The Netherlands, Portugal, Germany.
Stanislav Gaudassinsky is People's Artist of Russia, State Prize winner of Russia, professor, head of the Opera direction faculty of St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory.
He was awarded the Order of Friendship and the Order for Services to the Fatherland, 4th degree.

In a 1969 has ended the Odessa State conservatory as singer.
Upon termination of a conservatory worked the soloist of an opera at the Odessa State theatre of an opera and ballet, at the Odessa State theatre of a musical comedy, Donetsk State theatre of an opera and ballet.
Since a 1971 - soloist of the Leningrad Mussorgsky State academic Small theatre of an opera and ballet.
In a 1986 has ended the Leningrad Tcherkasov state institute of theatre, music and cinematography on a speciality «Organization, planning and management of theatrical business».
Since a 1986 - deputy director of the Leningrad Mussorgsky State Academic theatre of an opera and ballet.
Since a 1991 - administrative director of the St.Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. In a 1998 Victor Koushch the rank of the honoureded worker of culture of Russia is appropriated.

Viacheslav Okunev graduated from Production Faculty of the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in 1979. He designed over 170 productions of the musical theatres in Russia, in CIS and abroad: "La Sylphide" by Loewenshoeld (Moscow, Bolshoy Theatre); "Love for Three Oranges" by Prokofiev, 'Coppelia" by Delibs, "Giselle" by Adam (St. Petersburg, Mariinsky Theatre); "The Tsar's Bride" by Rimsky-Korsakov (Kiev); "The Magic Flute" by Mozart, "Caterina Izmailova" by Shostakovitch (Minsk); "Boris Godunov" by Mussorgsky (Odessa); "Tosca" by Puccini (Novosibirsk); "The Queen of Spades" by Tchaikovsky (Ecaterinburg); "Tchaikovsky", "The Brothers Karamazov", "Red Giselle" (St. Petersburg, Ballet Theatre of B. Eifman); "Colas Bruniori" by Kabalevsky (Bulgaria), "Petrushka" by Stravinsky (Scotland);"Cinderella" by Prokofiev (Greece) etc.
As designer-producer, V.Okunev participated in the following St.Petersburg Mussorgsky Opera and Ballet Theatre's productions: "Medium" by Menotti, "Gianni Schicchi" by Puccini, "The Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky, "Don Quixote" by Minkus, "The Tale of the Tsar Saltan" by Rimsky-Korsakov, "La Traviata" by Verdi, "Die Fledermaus" by Strauss, "Don Giovanni" by Mozart, "Carmen" by Bizet.

Gennady GALITSKY. Art-backstage Staff Manager.
Graduated from Nemirovitch-Danchenko Studio-school at the Moscow Art Theatre in 1978 (stage artist-technologist department). From 1978 till 1986 he headed art- backstage staff of the Kiev Taras Shevchenko State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Since 1986 G. Galitsky heads art-backstage staff of the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Mikhail MEKLER. Light Designer
Graduated from Leningrad Insitute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in 1982 (stage artist-technologist department). From 1974 till 1980 he was light designer of the Leningrad State Musical Comedy Theatre and from 1980 till 1984 held the same post at the Leningrad State Music Hall. Since 1984 M. Mekler is light designer of the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
